Don't get me wrong, the Spears family has a mean/evil streak, but Britney said it best on IG when talking about her dad and the start of the Con ("my dad isn't smart enough to come up with the idea of a conservatorship"). 

I think the same applies to the rest of the Spears family. On that note, I think she really didn't think to use protection and just got pregnant. If there ever is some elaborate plot, it usually connects to Lou Taylor.

There's a blog (laineygossip.com) that said that JLS got pregnant because Casey was about to dump her ***. I believe this. There's no way a rich girl working in Hollywood didn't know anything about birth control

That Dan is the father of her baby. But I think it's a bit too extreme imo. He was very much a creep and his foot fetish was odd but I don't think that rumour is true.
