Due to the situation in Ukraine, seeing in no end, Despite winning Eurovision, it's been declared it's unsafe to host as the winner of the contest, it's normal to host the contest, but that's not unfortunately not gonna happen with it in war with Russia, which has basically been exiled from the entire world..

 

But per rules the runner up country can host the contest, so the united kingdom, is actually in the hosting opportunity now .
