Lil Nas X shares his thoughts about being excluded from this year’s list of BET Award nominees. This is what he tweeted which were later deleted: 

“thank you, bet awards. an outstanding zero nominations again. black excellence,” 

“IDK, maybe 3 of the biggest songs of last year and a critically acclaimed album. I feel like that should’ve helped me a bit.” 

“It doesn’t even have to be me nominated. I just feel like…even when we make it to the top mfs try to pretend we are invisible”

“black gay people have to fight to be seen in this world.”

He deleted the tweets? According to other Exhale users, this means Lil Nas X is in a secret conservatorship and that other people are running his social media

he's quite right tho. A gay black rapper with huge numbers. Something's wrong. Let's wait until Normani is announced as a performer

The gay community in general loves him. But BET's a different story, and I guess they don't, and I think we know why. They don't have a problem with risqué work...they gave awards to WAP.
