I re-map every single album I download. Some of the best albums tell a coherent story and flow accordingly, you don't really see that executed well anymore. Also you can't lead with something that's too left field and not on brand, which is one of the many reasons Make Me... was a poor choice as a single.

Singles

1. Change Your Mind (No Seas Cortes)

With how hot latin infused pop was at the time it was crazy that this wasn't the lead. The song is fire and $exy, total lead single material.

2. Do You Wanna Come Over?

Following right on the heels of the lead single should always be another bop, keep the momentum up.

3. Love Me Down

Drop it in conjuction with the album, again something upbeat because the album release should be exciting!

4. Mood Ring

NOW we're ready for something different, everyone should be on the Britney hype train after those three bops.

5. Slumber Party

Good way to finish out the era.

Omg just even reading the first part about 50 shades. I was daydreaming yesterday about if Britney would have released Love Me Like You Do. Damn Max Martin for not giving that track to her, tbh...

I've never heard Apology before. Am I a flop fan? Loving Slumber Party ft. Rihanna. Always seemed like a good fit in my mind as well. Missed opportunity here. Tinashe was cute but she sounds almost exactly like Brit in the track. Rihanna would have brought that something extra. Its definitely a turn up track.

I disagree with making Liar a single, sis. And I don't think Do You Wanna Come Over could have been a hit single either unless it was seriously reworked. So I'd replace that with Better and Mood Ring (By Demand)

I think Britney would have taken this era all the way. But the Make Me fiasco probably discouraged her. And then the ****ery of MTV having her perform right after Beyonce's performance at the VMA's while turning off her mic...You could see it on her face that was the literal moment she was over it. If her management had had their **** together this era could have been amazing. what a shame. At least it was somewhat salvaged with Slumber Party vid, which people are still discovering today.

Breathe on Me is definitely a time capsule of the early 2000s though. I think it would have already been considered a little on the nose for 50 shades. But I like the way you think. Brit fans would have appreciated it. But would the GP?

i think make me is a good lead single, maybe with a better video and different timing (maybe being released somewhere in between march and may) it would have done a lot better.

i also “remade” the glory era and this is what i did :)

lead single: make me (feat. G-Eazy) - released May 10th

promo single: private show - released June 7th

second single: slumber party (feat. tinashe) - released July 5th

album drops: August 19th

third single: do you wanna come over? - released September 20th

fourth single: mood ring - released January 3th

promo single: better (remix with a contemporary artist) - released May 29th

track list:

1. Invitation

2. Private Show

3. Make Me (feat. G-Eazy)

4. Man On The Moon

5. Do You Wanna Come Over?

6. Slumber Party (feat. Tinashe)

7. Clumsy

8. Love Me Down

9. Liar

10. Change Your Mind (No Seas Cortés)

11. Better

12. Mood Ring

Deluxe Tracks:

13. What You Need

14. Just Like Me

15. Coupure Électrique

16. If I’m Dancing

like you see i scrapped some songs to make the track list a little bit shorter:jl:
