In 1997 Simon Fuller was fired by The Spice girls. Well the day after the infamous sacking. He began the search for his next music act. Which would be S Club 7. He would literally expand what he learned fron the Spice girls and expand it.

One thing S club 7 marketing strategy was the iconic children's tv show.

Miami 7, La 7, Hollywood 7, and Viva S Club.

Plus several tv movies.

S club 7. Boyfriends and Birthdays, Creative differences,  Back to the 50s and the Christmas special. Plus a  couple of reality shows. S Club 7 Go wild which was a charity awareness with their biggest sponsors. WWF The wildlife fundraiser which resulted WWF changing their name to WWE due to a massive lawsuit victory.

Plus the search for a spinoff band.  S club 8. Which one member would be in a girl group called The Saturdays.

Critics believe the S Club 7 children's show was the first musical TV series of its kind. Which led to Glee a decade later. Though unlike Glee. The S Club shows was more original material.

4 albums a greatest hits album and a reunion UK tour in 2015..

Spun off two solo members. Hannah spearitt is an actress who was in Agent cody banks 2 replacing Hilary duff from the original and seed of Chucky and a slew of Sci fi BBC tv shows.

And one member Rachel Stevens who was dubbed the most sexiest member of the girls. She had a brief two album solo deal. It's no secret one of her biggest UK hits is the infamous Track. Sweet dreams my L A. Ex. Originally was meant for Britney spears for in the zone. But Jive rejected it.

Funky dory was a modest hit in her native UK going Gold in the UK.

Fools from the princess diaries 2 soundtrack is from Funky dory.

But it's her second album that is her best album to date. Come & Get it. Rachel brilliantly traded bloodshy & Avant for the biggest electropop Production team of the noughties. Xenomania. The album is a masterpiece from beginning to end.

The singles were actually huge in the UK. All top ten. But the album itself peaked at #28.

But justice was served British music mag q and NME teamed up and included it in the list which popjustice States that being included in the 1001 albums you must hear before you die. Means flop or not. It deserves a second look. Come & Get it peaked at #16 on the list.

Stream this hidden gem. It's one of the best dance albums.
