I think she just looks/sounds robotic and very Good Morning America-ney because she's obviously reading her statement. Maybe she wrote it and didn't want to do it spontaneously because she knows everybody's getting cancelled for saying the wrong things.

It apparently has horrendous reviews and entirely defeats the purpose and originality of the first movie (I also read the plot on wikipedia and really dont get why the creators would go for something so generic and tired)
