Let's talk about Blur.

This song has arguably Britney's best vocals. How is it so underrated? Her lower register is **** as hell, and she sounds so natural.

Honestly, it could have been a perfect album closer for Blackout.

Was just listening to this earlier!! I absolutely love it, it's so good. You always hear songs about drinking/partying but never the dark side of those things, it's such a breath of fresh air.

It's a great track but too mellow for Blackout imo. It fits on Circus. It would tie in ever better had Britney stuck to a more Blackout, Pt. 2 vibe with a more electic mixture of tempos.

Blur isn't underrated, it's definitely overrated. Literally everybody loves it. I've always found it kinda boring, my less fave track on Circus.

It's a boring filler 

 

...and even more when gems like Quicksand and Amnesia couldn't make it to the standard tracklist. I have only listen to it no more than 10 times.

Blur is an iconic underrated masterpiece. And talk about the lyrics... an interesting thoughtful storyline, something current music needs. And yes I'd love an album full of Blurs, but as an artist I think she needs to make mix of the type of songs that feature on her album.

Blur is my fave off Circus along with Unusual You. Always wished it was a single and was hoping it would be when the album first released. Great lyrics and just so mellow, like a modern 60s psychedelic vibe to it. Very different!

Blackout and Circus have quite a few songs that could be switched around and yeah, Blur is def one of them.

i haven't listened it since 2009 or maybe 2011 can't remember. i'm not a big fan of circus non single songs except the bloodshy&avant tracks tbh.
