It's amazing to think how much the scrapping of the original MM video affected the era.

Had everything gone to plan:

  • the video would have been released about a week (maybe two) after the audio version. That way it would still be riding on the popularity of the single release.
  • the Glory cover wouldn't be a f#*@ing  horrible screenshot. David was responsible for the photoshoot and when the video got scrapped he took the booklet and cover photos with him.
  • the video would have controversy around it (Glitterney in a cage, dead man in the pool, TV thrown in the pool [it would be even better if, instead of product placement, there was a newscast saying "Britney slammed for lipsyncing". That would create even more controversy and her haters would be shook:wannadie:]). All the controversy would help the video get views and views=popularity.
  • without having to worry about reshooting the video, her team would be able to focus on more important things (promo, the VMAs and other stuff).
  • Exhale wouldn't have a meltdown.
  • had MM suceeded, the 2nd single would have been released earlier and wouldn't have flopped so hard.
