the one with the close up, is much better anyway, no need to look for mistakes on an almost 20 year old album, its not noticeable, its not like they misplaced an arm or something,

I say it's definitely a shadow. If you take a look, apart from that specific area that you mentioned, her legs and hands also have a different background color all around them, not just the one you pointed out. I doubt that they also "forgot" to edit that color surrounding her legs and partially her hands. It's the exact same color that you pointed out.
