Ik People keep saying that madonna only used Britney bc she was flopping and Britney was the it girl, but that time she did that interview above, wore her shirts, madonna was still big and very successful in her music era. So its not like she started defending Britney in 2003 when she was flopping and when the American Life video got controversy and Britney was still pretty huge. Britney met madonna before 2003 and in 2001 she was already talking about how possible was for them to duet.

I love Madonna, and love what she says about Britney and specially this protective feeling she feels about her, but, when did Madonna give this interview? Is it recently or an old one?
