cant find anything specific but seems like its from an animal

It's not from an animal. Perfumers aren't allowed to include REAL animal ingredients now as far as I know, mainly because of people's sensitivities to these ingredients. It was only allowed a long time ago (it was used a lot during the 50s and 60s I think, and way before that). Now they make synthetic "animalic" notes that resemble the real thing.
