I Support Jordan If He Decides To Shut Down

I support Jordan if he chooses to say goodbye. This site is SO negative! As someone who’s been here for a long time, it’s exhausting to come here and try to have a conversation. If you don’t worship everything Britney does or if you try to discuss a newer more relevant artist you’re shot down and ripped apart. Let’s be honest, Britney isn’t “Britney Spears” anymore. Im ok if Jordan decides to shut down this site and I hope he  can put his energy into something more profitable and positive ! Appreciate all the years of content but think it’s time to move on.

I can respect any decision. I have some experience running a forum/community a long time ago. It was a lot smaller than this one and yes it is a lot of work.

I wouldn't count Britney out professionally however and we may still see further chapters. There have been more unlikely comebacks in music history, by artists mid to late life - including acts nobody ever expected to see again and had been written off. Of course I only want to see it if Britney is fully on board with it but she clearly still has some performance instinct in her.

I don't know if it is possible to just deactivate the forum temporarily if admin needs a break, and to think of the future direction of the site.

Having to defend Britney on a FANsite (for the dumbest reasons!!) is very tiring. People will pick her apart for anything. Even if she doesn't do anything wrong, they still find something negative to bütch about. This site stopped being fun more than a year ago

I agree with you that this forum is too negative. And I’m also exhausted, but it’s because Britney is the one being ripped apart here on a daily basis. It’s one thing to have a differing opinion, it’s another to constantly spread negativity and vitriol.

I come here mostly to spread joy, laughs, and to celebrate her legacy. That doesn’t mean I agree with everything she says or does, but I try to be respectful of her and her delicate and complex situation. People here expect her to be fully healed by now and back to being the Britney they fell in love with. A few others, like myself, understand that it may take alot of time and to give her grace.

The comments I see about her appearance and her mental health are so cruel sometimes. The truth is, some members actually feed off their self-inflicted drama and negativity, and I’d be more than happy to see them go.

Yes, close it down for Jordan's sake. If it's not his passion, why have him keep the forums open to the detriment of his health? Have Jordan's best interest in mind. No matter how many members leave, it doesn't change the fact the forums are active and not making him happy.

You clearly didn't read his posts correctly, he said he's living his life like Britney and he's not too worried over the IG being taken down.

That wasn't his choice, now that it's happened, he mentioned he's taking a breather.

Dictating whether this site should close, how about you just leave? I say that respectfully, just close it down for yourself and others that don't want to be here.
