Yep, he was. Fans hate him because he didn't say anything back then, but like I believe Britney said (or maybe the costume designer?) everyone had to sign an NDA. If he had spoken before, the conservatorship would have just shut him up and removed him from her orbit... Instead, he remained by her side, pulled her out of the facility and while they were together, he was very outspoken against the conservatorship, he also said how he signed an ironclad prenup... She also seemed to be so much better when she was with him, mentally, emotionally and phisically. I think at some point Britney stopped taking her medication, Sam wanted her to take the medicines again, she refused, and the relationship turned unstable.

Agreed! I don't think she just went rogue, but if we've learned anything about Britney over her entire career is that even under the mess she is now, her image is still very much controlled. We are fed what fits the narrative of the moment and only what she wants us to know. Over the years, she has said multiple times that she doesn't like the light that the media paints her in which tells me that she very much knows how to control the narrative, even if she doesn't always do it right.

I do think Britney hit the end of her tether (like you said) and she likely blew up and went into a spiral. Even with the manipulation and control, I think the c-ship knew better than to expose a potential breakdown so they did what they could to hide it and Britney also knew that if the public caught wind of a breakdown, they would have a field day.

I truly think it was a situation of the c-ship saying, "we need her to appear as normal as possible" and Britney saying "I need y'all to help me not look crazy either." As toxic as it is, they needed each other and is likely why Sam stays quiet about a lot of details. Not necessarily because he wants to be a good guy, but because anything he says could bleed some of the drama.

I don’t see Sam as an enemy at all. We as stans blindly believe whatever Britney says, but with everything that’s happened following their divorce. However there was truth in all of those reports.  
 

The fact she made posts denouncing Paul only to show up with him weeks later said it all for me and was the final straw.  What she posts can’t be trusted and she’ll never learn.
 

I’ll always have love for Britney from ‘98-‘16 tho.

I don't think you know what a gag order is... Its a legal arrangement that stops someone revealing details about a case, not something that strips someone of their freedom of speech, and certainly not being able to talk about someone...

In my opinion, Britney suffers from mental health problems and while Sam tried his best to navigate through it, he just eventually hit a wall. They met during the Glory era when Britney said she felt a spark back so perhaps she was doing well at the time. Maybe Sam saw the best side of her and with the c-ship control, everything was controlled and looking great. Once she was freed and married, perhaps her mental health took a turn and things maybe got worse and worse. After a while, it was too much and they mutually separated.

I think it's interesting that everyone believes 100% of what Britney says despite her showing us daily that she's a walking contradiction, yet we form opinions about the people around her, strictly on her testimony without ever wondering, "what if she's bated us into thinking the people around her are something that they're not."

It's obvious by know that it wasn't Sam selling her out to TMZ, TMZ somehow got notice that Britney was going to be in that sketchy part of town and took photos that were very obviously staged (not staged by Britney, by Paul), they also got notice she was at Skyzone, the hotel, Cade's house, the highway, etc. It's obvious (to me at least) that Cade is the rat.

Cade is a rat. But sam literally read of his phone screen a script to them. Also informed them he was getting a divorce before it was even filed. The paps might be tipped of by cade and now a criminal but articles about whats happening inside of her house suspiciously stopped.

So then are you saying her IG and court testimony was a lie? Because that is exactly what she said caused them to lock her up in that place. The book was the only time she mentioned these supposed supplements.

Regardless, thank you for acknowledging that we can’t trust what she says and that she is likely lying.
