Should the public simply trust Gypsy Rose?

So... the buzz around Gypsy Rose being released from prison has been all over the internet. The series about her pretty much made her a celebrity. We all know her story, her mom scammed the public by claiming Gypsy was sick. Gypsy played along until her mom's death which lead to Gypsy going to prison. Now...allegedly....Gypsy wants to meet Taylor Swift ASAP. 

There are comments of Swiftys celebrating this and embracing Gypsy.

Do you think she should be receiving all of this fanfair and attention???

So...Gypsy was ordered to leave the entire state of Missouri on the night of the game where she hoped to meet Taylor. Did Taylor get her kicked out of an entire state????

She ain't cut from the most tightly-woven psychological cloth and, for her own good (along with the culture's), I don't think she needs to be platformed - even if she's totally unlikely to reoffend. I don't begrudge her the freedom but I disagree with championing her now as a fun, camp figure.
