She's not living in the past, she's healing her trauma. Triggers happen when you least expect it, and will continue her entire life. Healing isn't an "ok I'm better let's move on" situation. It's up and down, back and forth. How she responds to her triggers are what's important to show growth and healing. Her response here, to put her feelings into her art and have the ability to later reflect, shows an incredible amount of growth.

If you wonder what could have been a trigger for the poem, look at the following events. The Federlines move her sons to Hawaii without saying goodbye. (TMZ's source) The Asgharis and their friends take care of Sam's mother who had an accident. (Sam's post) Different families, different attitude, love versus indifference. "so low, so low"

Still interesting it was not just a caption but rather branded similarly to her book

I hope this isn't an "apology" for the publisher (tho could explain the sarcasm) / leading to changes in the book
