Courteney Cox won best fight for her long overdue battle with Ghostface in Scream VI, the highest grossing film in the franchise domestically also won Best Movie, joining the original 1996 Film, which also won best movie at the 1997 MTV Movie awards (previously titled that before that added tv)..Scream VI also had one other nomination for Still Alive by Demi Lovato for best song but lost to Carolina by Taylor Swift. 

 

Scream VI grossed 108 Million in the US,, topping the original film in the states,  3rd one to gross over a 100 Million domestically,  and with 169 Million globally it's in 3rd place as it made more than 2000's Scream 3.

 

Scream 4 with a domestic gross of 39 million and 97 Million internationally is still the only one to underperform with a 40 million budget..

 

The first one to have No Sidney Prescott and it performed like the original 90s films..
