Beyoncé is definitely the most popular singer of the late 90's/early 2000s and the most relevant today in 2023.

She had #1 song. 24 years into her career.

Let's just say that whereas Beyoncé and other artists are hungry to stay relevant, Britney just don't give a fk about it and she has stated it multiple times! (Even tho no matter what, she'll always be relevant and the fact that HMC is still charting MEANS something ) Some of y'all just don't wanna understand that she was already over this whole being famous and relevant thing by 2004/2005.

There's an old interview somewhere where she literally says that she would like to become a mother and spend time with her kids and husband in a big house with a pool or something like that.

I think that if she ever comes back (I know she hates that word lol ) It would be something lowkey like Hold Me Closer (and with lowkey I'm not talking about the success of the song, it's actually crazy to see that the song is still relevant!) But little-to-no promo, while she celebrates the success on IG etc... And I'm ok with that, this poor woman has gone through enough and she deserves to live her life the way she prefers

Nah. Britney would be bigger than Beyoncé STILL (she always was in her prime) if Britney was actually allowed to flourish as an artist and wasn’t insanely bullied by literally every ******* person in her life, the media and the GP, we wouldn’t even need to be speaking on this. Britney literally changed pop music. She brought it back from the brink of death in the late 90s. She’s had countless insanely iconic performances, hits, endorsements and more. She reinvented the game, including reinventing the Vegas residency which every big artist wants or has done by now. Beyoncé is cool and she’s done some good **** but what exactly has she done to change the game? She is in no way deserving of being the most awarded Grammy artist of all time (which are bought anyway). I just don’t get the constant *** licking for Beyoncé. She’s not the best by any means lol.

she made it very clear early on in her career she wanted to do this on the side when she aged 

 

ultimately I also tho I that’s what broke her and JT apart as she wanted to have a family and he wanted to focus on his career blah blah which is why she felt so heart broken that the love of her life did not feel the same as her which is why she rushed into it with someone who was already on the journey she wanted to start…

I don’t think it was the conservatorship. I think she rebelled against her handlers at the time. She wanted to live life on her terms and no one allowed her. That sort of led into the conservatorship. I think she’s finally getting that chance now. But  she achieved so much so quickly- I don’t know if she would’ve wanted to sustain that. It’s a lot of pressure.
