Britney’s first & only Grammy performance

I was disappointed in this performance Brit was all over that year performing all the awards shows and for some reason this performance at the Grammys the biggest music show didn’t live up to her performances at several other award shows  so she performed at to around that time!

She should have performed way more.

Honestly she looks amazing but it’s not my fav performance. The robots always freaked me out

She could have slayed way harder considering she did in other performances at this time.

Unfortunately it did not showcase her talents but it's an OK performance.

The first half of the performance is absolutely lovely, aside from some technical sound issues. Her vocals are powerful and flawless. Ironically, it’s the second part that kind of falls flat for me, but I love her solo dance break. I think she had a feeling she wasn’t gonna win “Best New Artist”, so she chose not to give them a performance worthy of a best new artist. Regardless, the Grammys lost their credibility back in the early 90s, and Im glad Britney has paid them dust since.

That was the first time I ever watched the Grammy Awards and I thought Britney looked like an absolute goddess in her white dress on Red Carpet.

The microphone screech is awkward. WTF was up with her sound team? I'm thankful she brought some live vocals to but lip-syncing at the Grammies is always a bit taboo so I'm not shocked she didn't win in retrospect.

She looked great. This performance was not it, but you can see Britney rlly focused and trying to give it during the dance break.

Probably the most stunning she’s ever looked during a performance. The first half is nice (despite the technical issues) and I loved the little choreo tweaks but yeah, something about this performance falls short. I think she was trying to prove herself to the academy by trying something different out. At least she looked super focus and gave it her all.

It’s crazy that the TCA crazy performance is even better but they probably at the time thought a ballad would help her be taken more seriously. But if she did choreo similar to the baby tour it probably would’ve slayed more
