Oh, come on guys, with all due respect to all of you, but you don't know what you're talking about.

 

Times are changing and of course Drake's success is fairly achieved. It's what today's situation is. Same as with album sales. Was It fair for artists post 2005 to not being to sell albums like older artists? Would MJ sell so many copies of Thriller If It was released in 2007? Most probably not, but that shouldn't and doesn't take away his success he made in the 80s.

 

Same with Britney. Her album sales are only declining from one year to another. Streaming has come along and It's a great way to show artist's relevancy and success. It doesn't say Drake is better than Beatles or that Beatles are worse than him lol music scene is changing like It always has and It's okay.

 

However, I will add, I only know like 2 songs from Drake. One dance and Hold on we're going home. And the one with Rihanna

I don't believe those records can ever be broken because it was such a different time and shouldn't be compared. We really needed to reset everything once we entered the digital era because it's like saying someone broke records in a running marathon... but they were in a car.
