I think the chorus has justified the purpose of the song, but these lines are just so stereotypical:

I would say that a woman wearing heels is more of a generalization than a stereotype. I don't understand what this thread is supposed to be.

And generalizing women that they wear heels makes it a stereotype. I love Katy, but this is one of her songwriting flaws.

I can't really tell any stereotypes with the lyricism. It's more of a girl's night out anthem and since it was released in 90s, they considered this type of songs bold and breakout with its lyrics. Like I Kissed A Girl and Born This Way back in late 00s.

The words Cholo is a stereotype of a certain latin girl. Not all latinas dress like that, I was glad she got called out on some of the personalities she mentioned in that song.

it is not stereotypical in terms of describing man or woman in particular so a little off topic but id say Madonna - Batuka is pretty stereotypical in its lyrics and attitude. it treats a human who it subjects as a really basic, robust and overly pessimistic person. i don't think its empowering

and i am not talking about that line in particular

not you thinking only these lines of the song could be stereotypical :D

making this post i knew it was risky

many people seem to think that the first person narrating "its a long way its a long day" et cetera is truthful characterization of some people on how they think

i don't think so

i just don't think it is a truthful description or reflection of a real human

of course i don't think Batuka is disrespectful

i am just saying it doesn't describe its subject accurately enough

hence, falling into a stereotype
