I brought the vinyl because I have a vinyl deck and it's currently in fashion, but cassettes? who owns a player for that nowadays? eeek :/ i'll pass. BUT cute color!!

I just found out some additional information. This will be part of a nostalgia collection, and there will be other cassettes as well. Bob Marley and the Wailers, the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack 1 and 2, Appetite for Destruction, and the Stranger Things soundtrack.

In fact our neighbor used to have the BOMT cassette and that's how I used to listen to it, and we would make our own "mixtapes" by recording songs from the radio on cassettes. I still saw them at stores til mid 00's or so. I think even Blackout was released on cassette, wasn't it? 

 

That is! My last cassette was In The Zone... what a great memory! I still play some cassettes nowdays, the sound is more soft and warm + you can touch something...

FOR PEOPLE STILL TRYING TO FIND THEM

My target said they did not carry it through the app. I searched through the electronics and found nothing. 

HOWEVER

When I wondered around the store, I ran into a little nostaliga area by the front of the store by the main entrance (came in through the second floor) and they had a 90s icons book (Britney was in it) and Full House dolls. THATS WHERE I FOUND THE CASETTE!! 

I bought 2 of them:)

You shoulda taken a picture of it. My target hasn’t set that display up. I already got my cassette but it’d be cute to see what it was supposed to look like and be able to see the book
