Yeah I don’t get this.  Cassettes were outdated when BOMT was released as it is.  I get the vinyl trend, but cassettes?  Keep it, Target.

Personally, I love cassettes. They are cheap and its nice to own them for nostalgia and physical reasons ya know, in case the internet breaks

I think is a collector thing, nobody uses cassettes nowadays but is a cute piece in a collection.

I don't think they were. Maybe there were CDs already, but at least for me it was still very common to use cassettes. In fact our neighbor used to have the BOMT cassette and that's how I used to listen to it, and we would make our own "mixtapes" by recording songs from the radio on cassettes. I still saw them at stores til mid 00's or so. I think even Blackout was released on cassette, wasn't it?
