It's the most streamed song off the album, so apparently, people like it. And people like it for the same reason you don't, we all have different taste, and it doesn't make you or us better.

You think Slumber Party is boring, but think Just Luv Me would be a good choice? :beynah:

And what's wrong with the production of the song? :beynah:

It's random? What does that even mean? Don't you think songs like Hotline Bling, I Took A Pill In Ibiza (or whatever that song's called), and #Selfie are random? Slumber Party is extremely catchy, the production is fire (especially with the Caribbean influence), and she's actually serving her signature baby-hooker vocals. If managed properly, it has hit written all over it.

I think you mentioned being European, you admitted you don't stream, and don't request. So why should they give a **** about catering to fans like you again? :xcuseme:

Especially regarding what next single they try to push on American radio?

I did stream the first 2 weeks when Make Me was released, and I did when I could for the album even though I was on a trip when it was released. Plus I requested much more than some fans on this forum, idk where I said that I didn't? And what if I'm from Europe, I follow American radio and American charts :mj:

I don't know why you guys even like that song, it's so tacky and one of the worst songs in Glory, it reminds me of HIR. The GP will not like it as it's a very badly produced and boring song. Just Luv Me, Better or Liar are the ones that have single potential.

Ok so I know everyone here is a little heated up rn but I want to chime in with what i've been debating about with friends in RL. I'm sorry for posting links, I can't remember if I'm allowed to or not.

Firstly, singles should always come out before the album. ITZ is a good example even Oops which were both hit albums - why change a logical method of releasing music and maintaining a presence on the charts (drip feeding music and videos up till the FULL release of an album).

Secondly, the overall sound of the album isn't awful but it's not anything that could give Britney a lasting spot on the charts. WB was great because EVERYBODY knows the song and uses the title playfully in conversation and the same can be said about Gimme More. It's perfect. MM? SP?

NOW BEFORE I get into SP about how it sounds and performs as a single (im not an industry specialist but I've studied other artists)... The AUDIO for the SP video and the video ITSELF have changed. Previously, Tinashe's first verse was sung 50:50 with Britney and the rest of the song was either Tinashe or Britney (sounded like a beautiful duet) unlike the official release on iTunes + B's vocals sound pitched UP towards the end of the video and certain scenes have changed subtly. Original was better.

SP sounds good. It's **** and slow and it's catchy. People that don't listen to her stuff do now. This is great in terms of re-establishing her relevance in the music industry. Old fans still love her and she's getting new fans. But I believe a sound like this mashup might have been better: Britney Spears Slumber Party Vs Ariana Grande Side to Side

Let's not forget BO and it's gorgeous urban sound that makes that album so iconic. It was a totally different sound to what she was used to putting out and it was good. AND what could have been an amazing track with Nelly (Tilt Ya Head). Also, B should have been allowed to use a broader range in her songs (ref: leaked snippets of her Glory album). I digress...

To wrap up, SP and MM are good singles but DYWCO might have been better (modern S4U or Seek Amy maybe?), Liar would have been good as it sounds like a response to her old relationship (it was reported he cheated on her), If I'm Dancing would have allowed for epic choreography (ref: Instagram vid of her dancing to Me Too "letting loose") and Better to show off her vocals coupled with a live performance allowing her to kill comments about her vocal ability (ref: old performances of BOMT with minimal choreography).

For an album I PERSONALLY BELIEVE she re-recorded within a year (in response to the feedback Pretty Girls got) it's pretty good. I love the music on it and it's great BUT it's lacking tracks that give the album a little spice. ITZ had "Boom Boom", BO had "Break the Ice" and "Get Back", Circus had "Womanizer" and "Circus". That "rumored" Glory track with Missy Elliott would have been FIRE. A hip-hop **** Nicki Minaj duet would have been great - anything that breaks up the pop tracklisting and could have been used as a single.

Ps: MM Vs Ariana Grande mashup that sounds really hot.
