Well besides the usual pop princess thing, maybe Britney's team and MtV knows she would leave after her performance but they wanted her to stay and see how Bey performs.

Sometimes I wonder if everything is staged. I mean, how could they let this happen. No one in their right mind who saw this would say this is ok to go out and perform.
