July 23, 2020 - Bryan Spears appears on the "As NOT Seen on TV Podcast" in anticipation of a probate court hearing that day. "She's always wanted to get out of it. It's very frustrating to have," Bryan says of the conservatorship. "Whether someone's coming in peace to help or coming in with an attitude, having someone constantly tell you to do something has got to be frustrating. She's wanted to get out of it for quite some time." Bryan says that "Obviously there was a need for it in the beginning," and says the conservatorship has "been a great thing for our family, to this point, and [we] keep hoping for the best." He says that his father has "done the best he could, given the situation he was put in," and recalled how "we've had to work together as a family to keep it all going. One person might be on stage and doing this, but it's a sacrifice from everybody. Everyone is putting in, to some degree, a little bit to keep everything going."

July 23, 2020 - A scheduled probate court hearing is postponed after four individuals illegally access the court’s digital video link system and refuse to leave, even popping back up several times after being ordered by Judge Penny to exit the system. Aug. 19, 2020 - During a hearing in the probate court, Judge Brenda Penny rules that Britney’s request to prevent her father from returning as her conservator will not be decided until February. Penny extends the conservatorship in its present form until February 1, 2021. She asks court-appointed attorney Samuel Ingham to file Britney’s petition by September 18th and to file any objections by October 2nd. The next hearing in the case will take place on 14 October 14th.

Nov. 11, 2020 - Jamie Lynne Spears texts Britney to let her know that her court-appointed attorney, Samuel Ingham, is working closely with Lynne Spears and her lawyers. She says her father, Jamie Spears, wants to resign, but wants to confirm this with Britney one-on-one without involvement of the lawyers. Jamie Lynn says she feels that Ingham purposely left his petition to remove Jamie full of holes because he is working to the benefit of Lynne and not Britney.
