June 21, 2007 - In an “exclusive,” paparazzi agency X17 reports that, “A source close to Britney has just given X17, exclusively, some shocking news - Britney's visit to her attorney's office yesterday may have been part of Spears' research into filing a restraining order against her own mother, to keep Grandma away from Jayden and Sean! Britney and Lynne's relationship soured when Brit was forced into rehab by her family and management (according to Brit herself) and when it appeared that Lynne was taking Kevin's side in the custody battle involving her own daughter and her daughter's estranged husband. Then reports had the mother and daughter reconciling last month and we did catch Brit's mom and her daughter's Bel Air home, but Britney was mum on mom the following day when we asked if she was happy to see her mom again. We haven't seen the two together since then and now our source is telling us there are some very deep problems between the two. Apparently Britney feels the situation is serious enough to file a restraining order against her own mother to keep her mom away from her two sons, according to our source.”

June 25, 2007 - In an “exclusive,” paparazzi agency X17 reports that, “An X17 source confirms that Britney is set to file papers for a restraining order against her mother Lynne, in an attempt to keep her mom away from her two sons. Our source tells us that the paperwork is completed and that Britney is claiming her mother is abusing prescription pain medication and that she should be kept away from Sean and Jayden. The papers are supposed to be filed today or tomorrow. Oh, and the supposed "reconciliation" between mom and daughter a couple weeks back, word is, Britney wasn't expecting that visit from her mom and sister and that she was not happy with the surprise. Apparently Britney's fuming over her mother's visits with the kids at Kevin's house. She feels it gives time to her ex and her mom to plot against her, as she claims they did earlier this year to force her in to rehab. The restraining order is obviously a last-ditch attempt to get full custody of her kids, which Britney so desperately wants.”

June 28, 2007 - X17 reports that, “We just caught Britney driving all the way up to Valencia, about 30 minutes north of Los Angeles, where she surprised her mom on the set of sis Jamie Lynn's TV show with legal papers related to a restraining order. As X17online has exclusively reported, Britney is seeking a restraining order against her own mother to keep her mom from visiting with Britney's two sons Sean and Jayden. The reason? -- alleged pain medication abuse by her mom. A source has told X17 that Britney's motivation behind this is to stop Britney's mom from seeing the kids at Kevin's house, where Lynne and Kevin colluded together previously, to threaten Britney's custody of the kids if she didn't go to rehab. Here's the kicker ... our source says that Britney's own mother, her estranged husband Kevin Federline, and her former manager Larry Rudolph were instrumental in forcing Britney into treatment at Promises rehab in Malibu in February but that a drug test at the time of Britney's admission into the center, turned up negative and proved that her system was totally clean of any drugs.”

June 29, 2007 - TMZ reports that “Britney Spears feels totally betrayed by her mom, her soon-to-be ex husband, her former manager and Promises, the rehab facility she called home for nearly a month. In short, she claims she never had a drug or alcohol problem but was railroaded into rehab.” It claims that “Britney and her assistant, Allie Sims, called Promises multiple times, asking for a copy of the report showing that she tested dirty for drugs and/or alcohol when she checked in. We're told it took several days to get an answer. Only two reports were sent to Britney's rep, both showing no drug or alcohol use whatsoever. Most shocking, the first report was dated March 7, 15 days after Britney checked in. Sources say one of Britney's reps then called the facility and asked for any evidence of a dirty test, but she was told there was nothing in the file. The question -- if the first test was taken more than two weeks after Britney checked in, how could they treat her if they didn't know the problem?” Further, “We're told Britney's legal team has repeatedly asked to have a "private" judge handle disputes in a private office (that's the M.O. of her divorce lawyer, Laura Wasser, in celeb divorce cases), away from the cameras, but Federline has insisted that everything be handled at the L.A. County Courthouse, where the media could record their comings and goings.”
