Taylor joins a management firm called Davimos, where she works with a roster of big-name sports and music industry clients. “Among them was Andre Harrell, founder of Uptown Records, which had a roster that included Jodeci, Heavy D & the Boyz and a 21-year-old singer named Mary J. Blige (now a Tri Star client), who was recording her debut album “What’s the 411?” with a hot new producer named Sean Combs.”

Someone who wanted to work with her attended a recording agreements class I was teaching and introduced her to my ex-partner and me.” Says Rudolph, “...I have known her since she was 13 years old, and she’d been off ‘The Mickey Mouse Club’ for about a year, which I had not seen. But she brought in a VHS tape and played me some stuff of her, and it was just amazing.”

Oct. 10, 1997 - With Larry Rudolph acting as his legal representation, James Spears signs an affidavit and a “Petition for Judicial Approval” of Britney’s recording contract with Zomba. Lynne Spears also signs an Oath as “undertutrix ad hoc for the minor Britney Spears,” seeking judicial approval of the contract. A handwritten note to the Tangipahoa Clerk of Court on October 7, 1997 reads, “Judy, This is what Ruth Spears called about.” Once the contract is signed, Britney is immediately relocated to New York City, housed in a Jive Records penthouse, and groomed to become the American version of Robyn. In order to give Britney some direction, Jive’s A&R executive Steve Lunt shows her Robyn's music videos, to which Britney responds, "The record is really good, but the video is all wrong. It's in boring black-and-white and no one is dancing. If it were me I'd be wearing a miniskirt and I'd be dancing.”

James Spears, Lynne Spears, Larry Rudolph, and Jive are all named in the lawsuit. According to the suit, Spears had come to Kahn shortly after the collapse of the ''Mickey Mouse Club.'' For the brief period he spent as her "exclusive personal manager," Kahn is demanding "a sum in excess of $75,000," as his standard 15 percent commission.

Dec. 1999 - Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake, both clients of the law firm of Rudolph & Beer, LLP, enter into donor agreements with the Boston-based Giving Back Fund, Inc., a charitable corporation to which contributions qualify for tax deductions under§ 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. lt is not the more familiar form of charitable organization which exists to raise money for some single use such as The American Cancer Society. Rather, for a fee, it provides a structure which receives funds generated or donated by a prominent donor and administers a charitable account in the name of that donor. The donor is thus able to raise funds and participate in decisions directing the funds to favored donees. The objective is to avoid the costs and burdens of creating and administering a charitable foundation while getting a pre-approved I.R.C. § 501 (c) (3) umbrella.

Feb. 19, 2007 - “Right before Britney went into Promises, after she shaved her head, I got an anonymous call from a man while I was driving in Los Angeles,” writes Lynne Spears in her book Through The Storm. “There are drugs planted in Britney’s Malibu home,” he said, going on to tell me that it was a conspiracy between Kevin and Britney’s assistants to make my daughter look like a bad mother.” Lynne claims that, "Immediately, I called the security guards at the Malibu house and asked them to check the house for drugs. While I knew Kevin would never hurt my daughter like that, and I highly doubted her assistants would either, things were so fragile with Britney at the time that I wasn't taking any chances. She had just lost custody of the boys to Kevin, and she was at a very low ebb. It was midnight, but I turned around and drove to Britney's house and met her assistant, Allie. Along with the guards, we combed the house, and no drugs whatsoever were to be found. Nonetheless, Allie and I were scared to death. I didn't hear from this mysterious person again until months later...When I told him his theory had proved wrong, he protested: "There were drugs; you just didn't find them," he said, earnestly." Several paragraphs later, Lynne claims the man who called about the drugs was Sam Lutfi.

According to Lynne, she sent the unnamed woman to the pharmacy at the Ralphs Grocery Store next door to pick up an RX that she had called in, when the woman brought the pills to the apt, Lynne claims she took a pill crushed it on the kitchen counter and wiped the contents into Britneys Red Bull, in which Britney drank, passed out and later was driven to promises."

June 21, 2007 - In an “exclusive,” paparazzi agency X17 reports that, “A source close to Britney has just given X17, exclusively, some shocking news - Britney's visit to her attorney's office yesterday may have been part of Spears' research into filing a restraining order against her own mother, to keep Grandma away from Jayden and Sean! Britney and Lynne's relationship soured when Brit was forced into rehab by her family and management (according to Brit herself) and when it appeared that Lynne was taking Kevin's side in the custody battle involving her own daughter and her daughter's estranged husband. June 25, 2007 - In an “exclusive,” paparazzi agency X17 reports that, “An X17 source confirms that Britney is set to file papers for a restraining order against her mother Lynne, in an attempt to keep her mom away from her two sons. Our source tells us that the paperwork is completed and that Britney is claiming her mother is abusing prescription pain medication and that she should be kept away from Sean and Jayden. The papers are supposed to be filed today or tomorrow. Oh, and the supposed "reconciliation" between mom and daughter a couple weeks back, word is, Britney wasn't expecting that visit from her mom and sister and that she was not happy with the surprise. Apparently Britney's fuming over her mother's visits with the kids at Kevin's house. She feels it gives time to her ex and her mom to plot against her, as she claims they did earlier this year to force her in to rehab. The restraining order is obviously a last-ditch attempt to get full custody of her kids, which Britney so desperately wants.”

In short, she claims she never had a drug or alcohol problem but was railroaded into rehab.” It claims that “Britney and her assistant, Allie Sims, called Promises multiple times, asking for a copy of the report showing that she tested dirty for drugs and/or alcohol when she checked in. We're told it took several days to get an answer. Only two reports were sent to Britney's rep, both showing no drug or alcohol use whatsoever. Most shocking, the first report was dated March 7, 15 days after Britney checked in. Sources say one of Britney's reps then called the facility and asked for any evidence of a dirty test, but she was told there was nothing in the file. Jan. 3, 2008 - Britney sits for a long-awaited deposition in her child-custody battle, although she cuts the session short and is only questioned for 14 minutes. She had been scheduled to start her deposition at 9:45 a.m. but didn't leave her home until after 10 a.m., according to photos and video taken of her drive to Mark Vincent Kaplan’s offices in Century City. By the time she arrives, she is 90 minutes late, and proceedings don't start until just after 11:30 a.m.

With this box checked, A violation of due process occurs when James Spears' attorneys select Samuel Ingham III to represent Britney, despite the California Probate Code specifying that Britney receive a document telling her she may select her court-appointed attorney herself. Judge Goetz includes a handwritten note: "PVP Counsel shall review and discuss the orders and related proceedings with the Conservatee. PVP Counsel shall retain all copies of the orders and pleadings and shall not leave them with the Conservatee." James Spears and Lynne Spears sit with attorney Blair Berk throughout the hearing, smiling and embracing after the announcement that James and Andrew Wallet have officially been named co-conservators of Britney’s estate. The New York Times later reports that “With the court’s permission, they immediately fired her business manager. The emails are a part of Berk's declaration in support of James Spears' request to stop harassment. Berk later testifies in court that in February or early March 2008, she spoke with Lutfi about a Mercedes Benz that he drove while he was Britney’s companion. “He (Lutfi) was extremely agitated about the fact that there had been a car that he had represented to Mercedes that had been requested by Ms. Spears which is a car that he had driven for his personal use,” said Berk. Nov. 20, 2013 - A “Declaration of Andrew M. Wallet In Support of Fee Modification” is submitted to the probate court. Within the document, Wallet claims that, "Throughout the conservatorship, Declarant has been intimately involved in every facet of the Conservatee's financial life and has been continuously involved in matters pertaining to her person." He says that he "continues to actively manage the various business interests, the professionals such as the manager, business manager, entertainment lawyers, litigation counsel, investment advisors, family law counsel, assets, finances, and the many business interests of the Conservatee. Over the course of more than five (5) years, Declarant has instituted multiple protocols by which the conservatorship estate operates and which have proven to be beneficial to the Conservatee. By way of example, and not by way of limitation, at the planning stages of the Circus Tour, the Declarant instructed entertainment counsel to spread the risk of the Conservatee failing to fulfill her duties on tour because of some third party providing illegal substances. The financial stakes were high and failure was not an option. Declarant insisted that all contracting parties with the conservatorship estate, (there were hundreds of contracts), would sign consents [redacted] long as they were involved with the tour, [redacted] agree to liquidated damages and confidentiality [redacted] acknowledgments of their responsibilities to have [redacted] was greatly concerned at the planning stages for the Circus Tour, that the many hundreds of vendors, drivers, dancers, hair stylists, performers, etc. could bring financial disaster to the tour by providing illegal substances to the Conservatee. That protective environment involving literally hundreds of people, who also assumed the risk if they acted improperly. That protocol greatly reduced the risk of financial failure and personal harm to the Conservatee. The same protocols were employed for the second tour and now for the Las Vegas residency." Wallet claims that "The conservatorship estate [redacted] plus the non-liquid assets, as previously stated. The "bad'' and incompetent people previously involved in the Conservatee's personal and business life, have been swept out as a result of Declarant's utilizing and urging the use of various legal actions, his terminating people's employment, resolving disputes, resulting in eliminating liabilities, debts and various threats to the conservatorship estate and the person. It has been a full time job for months at a time in order to get things under control and productive." Further, Wallet says that "Throughout the conservatorship, Declarant has been continuously engaged in the business affairs of the conservatorship estate, including interfacing with entertainment counsel, reviewing all contracts (hundreds), negotiating terms, resolving legal and business issues, interfacing with the manager, interfacing with the business managers, interfacing with Mr. Spears, interfacing with Ms. Wyle and Ms. Cohen and interfacing with Mr. Ingham among many others. July 11, 2016 - Three Kentwood residents are killed on Hwy. 51 near Fluker, LA around 5:45 p.m. when the driver of a 1990 Chevrolet pickup truck collides with the back of a southbound tractor trailer. The tractor trailer had stopped due to a second tractor trailer which was fully blocking the northbound and southbound lanes. The rear axles of the second tractor trailer were stuck in the west-side ditch adjacent to a private residence's driveway.
