What was your reaction to "Circus" song and video?

I thought the song was iconic 

The video was Pop magic. The dancing, the costumes, her energy and fire is everything in this video !!! To slay this hard during the Conservatorship blows me away. She is a true artist !!!

Unpopular opinion, but I thought the song was way better than Womanizer

I think I was in disbelief seeing "classic" Britney slay after years of scandals and bad press. The biggest comeback in music history imo, already with the Womanzier video. But with Circus the music video AND the song were the closest to Primeney. I also remember it being the intro-song of Germany's next Topmodel, the song was everywhere, everybody loved it - even in Germany where everybody was just hating her before.

Her circus era was literally my baby one more time album. 
 

I felt high to the sky. Literally flying off dopamine watching her slaying, I thought -and still think like that (that the sparkling-fire scene) was doing justice to her emblematic presence into the pop world. 
 

I also felt she did something completely different that she ever done before in the pass, it was more artsy (like she said) and she was right, she bring something very 1950-60 circus-Marilyn Monroe kinda vibe with it  
 

the 10-11 year old me was snatched. When I heard the song I was using my iPod, so I had to repeat the intro over and over because it felt different, strong and f uuuuuu CKING UNIQUE

Yeah that's why I have so much nostalgia for Circus and Femme Fatale cause they were released when I was a teenager.

I loved the song and was expecting a nicer video. She didn't really look like she was having fun, the cinematography was really dark and jerky and the choreography was not memorable. Overall a disappointment compared to what I was expecting back then

I was FREAKING OUT. Definitely one of her best videos EVER. The MOOD. The Moves. The Looks. KILLED IT!!! I wish she’d have done more videos in this style. Like a series 🤘🎪🤘

I was in high school, and I was in a state of euphoria watching the clip compulsively. Now I’m older and more skeptical about all that sh"t.

I loved the song and was obsessed with it. The video was mid. Very dark and not “fun” enough I think.
