How are they going to portray the blackout period through a musical. It need to be full on drama and I want to see Sam lufti and adnan scenes. The phone call with Ryan the fbi raid the bathroom scene. Moms coming to visit with spiked drinks being served like this needs to be shown in serious fashion and shown completely do not skip anything

Nah for a musical.

Minimal amount of singing that is neccesary to the story is ok but the book hardly deals with the singing part of her life. Maybe some parts related to auditioning or the first album or blackout.
