She deserves that award for her Stripped and B2B music videos alone (especially b2b). Both of them are legendary albums (love her other albums too) and the videos, the tours etc everything was perfect.

Agreed. It’s actually a crime that Christina hasn’t won it yet, but people like Rihanna, Pink, and Justin have. She deserved it a long time ago. After Britney, Christina’s videos are the best of that whole generation.

the vmas OWE mariah BIG time. For all that shes done for music in the 90s 2000s, 2010s, hell even to this day shes NEVER won a VMA, which is CRAZY. I think you lose your credibility to be called music television without honoring the queen. Mariah needs to be rewarded. They had so many opportunities to award her- her debut, music box era, emotions era, daydream, butterfly, rainbow era, charmbracelet, EMANCIPATION era, OBSESSED, TOUCH MY BODY, beautiful, Caution, cmooooooon.
