I was expecting to see some great discussions in this thread and instead like 90% of the replies are petty insults smh

Anyways, yes I would say All That She Wants is arguably her most personal song. She calls out her mother, father, and (ex) husband, talks about familial generational trauma, breaking chains of abuse… these are topics that have never appeared in any other Britney song (at least out of the ones that were released/leaked). Even the chorus takes on a new meaning and seems to imply that Britney only needs her kids/babies and no one else.

It’s a very complex song that’s ripe for discussion, it’s a shame what this thread devolved into.
