Not a bad position but definitely not good either. I was hoping for a top 20, but even that's tough these days for our pop girls to accomplish (Ava Max, Bebe, Rina Sawayama, Tove Lo, Kylie, etc.) I have a feeling that her team expected more.

Her team should have known better. Her fans live on social media, literally 24/7 users, and they know that she's still under Dr. Luke's contract, this time by choice, she won't go mainstream when even her deep cut listeners won't fully support her.

She's gonna end up having a Charli XCX-esque career. Bookmark me. A few hits here and there with collabs, but a small but strong cult fanbase with solo releases. 

I don't know why people were expecting her to chart super high. She's only had 1 major hit & is still a relatively newer artist. This is still a big accomplishment though, let's not take her shine away. She's never had a billboard charting album or EP before this so I'm happy for her!

I read about her name like a 1000 times but am yet to hear her first song....

So I feel like she released the album too soon. Ava waited ages for her debut album and already had like 4 to 5 songs out before which really helps to get her name out there

I love the album. But I usually skip the Problématique tracks. They are good song but do not fit the rest of the album. Definitely a label decision…

She's already 3 albums (of which most are kinda mixtapes) in her career

Imagine waiting all these years for the right moment to drop an actual debut album, and then charting this low. It’s so sad but what were they expecting? Unholy was a hit because of Sam Smith, there isn’t a single song from her album that did well ahead of release.

This is not surprising. I doubt that her label has a high marketing budget to push for higher placements in the charts. The album was pretty mixed to be honest. I love one half of it, but the other one is just meh.

The only album I liked was Slutpop, but Dr. Luke
