She has hits, but none of them are well known or liked by the general public that watches the super bowl.

Having hits is not enough, you need mega hits thats loved by everyone to perform at the super bowl.

The only mega hit she has is Wrecking Ball, and people see that song as more of a joke or a meme now.

The rest is Disney songs and new experimental songs that not everyone know.

I think they might give it to Miley, all American girl, she is out of her crazy era now, has album coming out, Flowers is successful, she can incorporate country music legends and also some rock legends which will be entertaining also for straight male viewers.

As for 2024, it will most likely be a male or a group. But I would love to see Xtina headlining.

Just like @Martian_M00d stated, she has plenty of songs that she could perform. I'd add We Can't Stop to that list. Also, she could have a number of guest – Miley has done a number of covers (one by Blondie, the other one by Metallica came to mind), so she could invite those and do covers w them. She could sing Jolene with Dolly Parton & these two together could do something w Wrecking Ball & I Will Always Love You like they did on Miley's NYE party. Also, so many rappers could show up. She could do 23 etc.

As for me, I feel like so many names could do it:

• Timbaland & all his protégés and people he worked with (Nelly Furtado, Keri Hilson, D.O.E., Drake, Katy Perry, JT, OneRepublic, Missy Elliot, Sebastian etc.) – something like they did with Dre & all his protégés performing there (Em, Mary, Snoop, Kendrick, 50)
• wouldn't be surprised at all if they asked Ms. Swift or Mr. Drake to do it
