I remember when this gem of a song came out there was a rumour about Vodafone considering using it for their winter commercials (at the time they had been using White Flag by Dido for a few years, contributing to the song becoming a huge smash hit). I wonder if there was any truth to that, it would have completely changed the course of this song

In the making of the video there are scenes that were filmed in color and alsobin black and white. I think they liked the black and white look and just went with it.
