Britney Spears Has Been Robbed, Her Self-Proclaimed Lawyer Insists

Britney Spears' self-proclaimed lawyer insists the singer has been robbed and plans to file federal-court papers on her behalf.

In February of 2008, Lawyer Jon Eardley filed a declaration which stated Britney Spears' rights have been violated. Including " her right to be heard "as to the appropriateness" of her father, Jamie Spears [as conservator]". James, in response, ,claimed that Eardley made an extremely bold decision to declare himself as Spears' lawyer. However, Eardley says Britney did, in fact, hire him.

His spokesperson, Micheal Sands (sound farmiliar? If not- check the article!) makes claims of Grand Theft including racketeering, money laundering and wire fraud.  Sands also claims that as a result of being involved in a criminal investigation, his office was broken into and that documents were stolen from his office. Furthermore, Sands claimed documents were missing from his computer after the alleged break in.

Meanwhile, Spears' father is looking for compensation for fighting Eardley over moving the probate case to federal court, asking Eardley to pay him (and thereby Britney) back for almost $43,000 in attorney's fees. In a filing on Monday, attorneys for the conservatorship called Eardley's claims "unsupported factual allegations" and refuted violating the singer's civil rights. If, for instance, she wanted to be heard on the conservatorship in court, they pointed out, she had the opportunity to come to probate court on both February 4 and February 14, but chose not to attend. The next hearing on the matter is scheduled for March 10.

Been following this situation for like 5-6 years and some of this stuff I didnt originally even know   I guess daddy mainstream media is THAT good at burying things.

I knew part of the existence of what happened in this article, but not how far it actually got before it was done.
