Why Isn't "Crossroads" Available for Streaming Services?

I've been trying to get it on blu ray or dvd but haven't had any luck either 

I watched it a couple of months ago on YouTube, though.

I'm still patiently waiting for it to be added to Netflix in the UK, we don't have Paramount+ here.

Oh yeah they did,  I might be wrong but I heard the Jive A&R Steve Lunt discontinued the dvd, that's why it can only be found on ebay

What the  yeah I just thought it'd be weird for a record label to own the rights to a film, but I know Zomba Productions (a film production company?) co-produced this film.

It was produced by MTV films, Zomba and Fuzzy Bunny Films but it was distributed by Paramount in the US and Summit entertainment for the international market so I truly think the rights are being held by MTV films, Zomba films and Paramount at least in the US 

 

This is what I meant to say when rights usage is pretty tangled, perhaps no one knows who actually owns the movie anymore

Oh dddd film rights confuse me sometimes  a bit like how some 20th Century Fox films are on Netflix instead of Disney+ in the UK

Also in some parts of the world, Crossroads was distributed by 20th century fox... like wth 

 

Film rights are pretty messed up sometimes - Perhaps MTV and Paramount want to add Crossroads to their streaming service Paramount+ but Zomba is not allowing them to use the soundtrack. Unfortunately, all parts need to be on the same page or sell the the entire movie rights to a diferent studio

Its easy. HBOmax could have her Iconic Vegas special. Whoever’s got ABC could do her 2003 ABC Special. And I think Paramount+ would have rights to ITZ & Out All Night, her Making the Videos () and all that MTV stuff! Come on people, it’s a discace to her Legacy. The kids today need to know how Iconic Herstory.  

I feel that Team Con hid so much of her content because it showed her happy, smart and career focused. That or they’re dinosaurs and lazy.

It was on Netflix until a few years ago, it's probably a licensing issue. Maybe one day it will be back

Real question is why isn’t for the record available to buy on iTunes? Or crossroads?
