What do you think Britney was feeling 2010/2011 Femme Fatale era?

Compared to now, where she's actually making so much effort to look hot, take care of herself, dress cute (even if still a bit eccentric), the Femme Fatale era was very odd and strange as a Britney fan. Her voice was much lower and she was extremely closed off in interviews, her eyes looked sad and not present, and she was dating Jason.

Since this was 3-4 years after the breakdown, what do you think was going on in her life at the time? What caused such a marked change in 2014/2015 to the Britney we're seeing now?

I do believe that she had another break-down, but I guess we'll never know what truly happened
