I know right? Some songs take FOREVER to gain momentum and reach the top.

I think some of us got spoiled back in 2008 to 2011 when Britney literally hit Top 10 instantly on the charts.

Things have changed and she's back to they days when her singles have to burn on the charts for a while before moving up.

Yeah, correct me if I'm wrong but it charted solely on radio airplay initially (and a little prematurely) then when the single was released it jumped straight to #1.

People on Exhale just enjoy spreading negativity and it's not even a week since the song came out. She has several promo performances planned next month and maybe even more in 2017 that haven't been announced yet.

People really are spoiled from 2008 to 2011. Toxic debuted at 53 for example and it took two months before it even cracked into the top 10. Not every song has to be like Womanizer or Hold It Against Me

Ia but if she doesnt do anything it wont chart well at all. Bc radio didnt support her on her Britney days but at that time she sold albums and the only way glory could do a lot better its If some song from the album becomes a hit. Slumber party has potential but yeah, she would have to work really hard to have at least the impact work ***** did. The days (2007-2012) were only her name made her chart so well are long gone.

People want instant results. No one values time. I see tons of instagram posts about what third single should be. It's like, everyone was so anxious and impatient for single #2. Now that it's finally here. they overplay the song/video. they dont get the chance to fully enjoy it. stream it and have it gain momentum.

I think its bc people want more singles and If SP flops like perfume the album will be Dead and thats it. We will have to wait another album in 2 years and will only have Vegas till there.

Thank you! I'm tired of everybody freaking out constantly over sales and letting that dictate their opinions on the music. Some times it takes a while for a song to rise, the only thing we can do is continuing streaming and requesting, complaining won't change anything. 

 

I wish people would stop focusing so much on charts when they mean literally nothing these days. Most the songs that hit the top spot are terrible anyways, Closer spent forever on top and that song is god-awful. We should be glad that Brit's actually making quality bodies of work again, rather than stressing because she's not longer the top dog. She put all the other pop girls to shame this year with Glory, and considering she's now nearly 20 years into her career, that should be what we're celebrating. I'd rather have that than a quick little hit. Especially considering iTunes charts don't even matter like they once used to.

Exhale is too much pressed about numbers and on the other hand team B seems careless.It's obvious their priority is POM which gives them efortless millions.If they don't care why should we?We have to accept that at this era is always something missing(either a good video or effective promo).Just enjoy the flawless album and the SP video people.
