iTunes "Make Me" sales

Last week "Closer" sold 146,000 copies. It is still #1 (1.00). If this is selling at the same rate as last week then we can get an estimate as to how many sales "Make Me" will get this week.

 

Currently "Make Me" is at #3 on ITunes with 0.4059 (40.59% of #1 sales)... If "Make Me" remains stable this would mean...... 146,000x40.59%= 59,261. You also have to take into account that throughout the last day it has been rising so it wasn't selling at this pace all day. Take away some sales to account for this and you are around 45,000 sales for the week. Now if it continues to rise then it could make up more sales and this is also dependant on how "closer" is selling. 

I expect "Make Me" to sell 40,000-65,000 sales this week which will greatly help it on the BB100 chart and (every 10 sales count as 1 album) would equal 4,000-6,500 album sales.

it all depends on her VMA performance. A performance can totally change someone's opinion of a song. It happened to with that Jonas guy's song "Close" or something, I hated it every time it was on TV but after Billboard awards' performance I started to like it.
