But I don't understand why she says "you could ask me for a sorry?" In other words, it doesn't matter to her if her lover's love is more demanding or complicated, but for her, she's going to keep it 'simple' - all she needs is love. Link to comment

I think this song is about the miscommunicated needs of two people. the guy thinks shes needy, shes problematic, shes annoying. but the truth is, she just wants love unconditionally. Theres no baggages attached to love. Which is a very naive/romantic way to look at love. However this is why Britney is magic. the guy on the other hand is demanding and a *****. He wants her to apologize for being 'complicated' he also wants *** and wants everything from her hence "pieces of my body" "until it is all urs" but britney in this case doesnt mind. But all she wants is just love and patience ( maybe she has her own demons to deal with) but hes unable to cope. If you (the OP) are confused about the "ask my for a sorry" line, I think the idea is that she if offering him anything he wants and is asking for very little in return. Link to comment

Like let A comes before B. theres no need for disrupting things and make a mess. or it is a metaphor about having patience. plz let the ******* calm come first and then the storm will come.
