Hi everyone! I'm working on a project for school and am conducting some research and would really appreciate anyone who takes the time to answer the questions below. If you would prefer to dm me your answers that is perfectly fine. Thank you so much in advance. -Justin 1. What primary apps and/or websites do you utilize when you are searching for album sales and chart positions? 2. What features do the apps and/or websites include that make it the easiest to find the sales/chart information you are looking for? 3. How often do you review album sales charts? 4. What information is hardest to find when you are looking for specific album sales/chart positions? 5. Are there features these apps and/or websites include other than music sales information that you enjoy, like articles ect.? 6. How often do you look into new music releases and what resource do you use to find release dates? 7. What online service is your primary source for streaming music? 8. Out of these forms of media: Digital Download, Compact Disc, Cassette Tape and Vinyl, Which would you be most likely to purchase and why? 9. Is there a specific musical genre you are most interested in tracking sales/chart positions for? If yes, Which genre are you most interested in and why? 10. 2020 is a terrible year for everyone. Some artists still worked hard to push out music for fans to listen to during the difficult period. IFPI has revealed the top 10 selling artists in the world in 2020 (in equivalent album units). 1. BTS 2. Taylor Swift 3. Drake 4. The Weeknd 5. Billie Eilish 6. Eminem 7. Post Malone 8. Ariana Grande 9. Juice Wrld 10. Justin Bieber This is the first time a non-English music artist has topped the year-end chart. Of course my husband would top the chart. No surprise. I bought 30 of his albums last year.
