  1. I'm sorry, I have to Such an iconic year That was my song Bon appetit baby That was a mess Don't judge me omg I love this song It is what it is Such a bop
  2. On April 29, 2017, the Radio Disney Music Awards took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Britney Spears was the recipient of the first ever Radio Disney Icon Award for her contribution in music and influence with the teenagers throughout her career. Accompanied by her sons and mother, Britney watched a tribute performance by Kelsea Ballerini, Hailee Steinfeld, Sofia Carson and a very special guest. They performed a medley of Britney hits: Oops!... I Did It Again, Circus, ...Baby One More Time and Till the World Ends. I know there was a video for this interview, but couldn't find it:
  3. On June 03, 2017, Britney Spears embarked on her first ever Asian tour, Britney: Live in Concert. The concert mirrored her Vegas residency show, Piece of Me, and it marked the first time she toured since 2011's Femme Fatale Tour. After performing exclusively in Las Vegas since her residency started in 2013, it was in 2016 that rumors started circulating about a possible tour to coincide with the release of her ninth studio album Glory, but it wasn't until April 2017 that, out of nowhere, it was announced she would be performing in Israel. A show in the Philippines was also announces, and eventually the rest of the dates, which fell during one of her breaks between legs from her ongoing Piece of Me residency, from June 03 until July 03. Not only was the first time she performed in Israel and the Philippines, but it was also the case for Taiwan, Thailand and Hong Kong, and she also performed in Japan, South Korea and Singapore. Tokyo was the first concert of the mini-tour, performing at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium. Wardrobe malfunctions aside, she received an awesome response from the sold-out crowd of 12,000 spectators. The last show, which was in Tel Aviv, coincided with Labol Party's primary election, which caused the election to be delayed to the next day due to concerns regarding the traffic congestion. With an attendance of 55,000, Britney became the second female musician with the biggest attendance in Israel of all time, only surpassed by Madonna, and the third artist overall, with Michael Jackson being at the top of the list. Prior to this concert though, she faced some accusations about her not singing live in her concerts, for which she was interviewed for an Israeli tv station. On June 09, a special edition of Glory was released to commemorate the tour, giving it a new cover to the double disc package that included besides the deluxe Glory tracks, a bonus CD with the songs performed on the tour, including Get Naked (I Got a Plan) and the Dragon Man Mix of Me Against the Music.
  4. On January 18, 2017 the 43rd People's Choice Awards took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Britney Spears was not there, however, she was the most awarded artist that night, winning all 4 categories she was nominated for: Favorite Female Artist (beating Adele, Beyoncé, Ariana Grande and Rihanna) Favorite Pop Artist (beating Adele, Ariana Grande, Sia and Justin Timberlake) Favorite Social Media Celebrity (beating Stephen Amell, Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga and Shakira) Favorite Comedic Collaboration along with Ellen DeGeneres (beating Adele's Carpool Karaoke, Channing Tatum's Lip Sync Battle, Ice Cube and Kevin Hart's Ride Along and Alec Baldwin and Kate McKinnon's SNL) Britney Spears did not attend because she was performing in Las Vegas at her Piece of Me residency that night But she posted the following day a picture with her dancers and crew thanking for the awards, dedicating them to The Britney Army
  5. A day like today but in 2017, Taylor Swift released her most highly anticipated record to date. What would she say after everything went down? She splitted her narrative between vendetas and finding true love. As a celebration of this, my favorite album of hers, I would like to give my own thought about each track as they have been in constant rotation for three years now. Exhale, what do you think about this album? Favorite tracks? ...Ready For It: that's how an album is opened. I have to admit I still get chills because of that gargantuan production. She clearing her throat at the beginning reminded me of how I just wasn't ready for it End Game (ft. Ed Sheeran & Future): while many find this collaboration quite cringy, I do enjoy it lots. The "big reputation" line is such an earworm. I Did Something Bad: it's like LWYMMD but on *********, lots of them. I think it would have been an outstanding lead single. Her performance of this song in the reputation movie in Netflix is ICONIC. Don't Blame Me: I wish they would've kept the vocals of a clip that floats around the web where she is singing her *** off. Delicate: a perfect pop song. Vibey tunes, clever lyrics. It deserved better in the Hot 100 and a decent music video. Joseph Kahn, bro, what happened here? Look What You Made Me Do: hated it at first, later it grew on me; still, one of her weakest efforts. The music video, though, incomparable. I can't believe she said there are easter eggs here that haven't been discovered yet. ...So it Goes: and here we find the most painfully underrated song not only in this record, but in her entire discography. She only played it twice in the Reputation World Tour, and kept it for the credits in the movie, for crying out loud. The minute I heard it, I went mad about it. It's moody, smexy, playful, nostalgic, dark, hopeful. The whispery 1-2-3 knocks me down. It's the perfect jam for a steamy make out session. Getaway Car: the song that escaped the single treatment. How many of us pictured a music video in our heads. This song will grow to be a staple, I even dare say that just like 'All Too Well', Taylor will keep bringing it back just because of how much we love it. Gorgeous: cute, funny, playful... that's it King of My Heart: I like it, but that's it. Dancing With Our Hands Tied: I'm a sucker for songs with blue lyrics and upbeat production. Amongst the first track of this album (along with So It Goes) that truly captivated me. Dress: claimed by many to be the s.ex.iest song in her catalogue (in my books, that's So It Goes). I enjoy it, though. This is Why We Can't Have Nice Things: another grower. It's playful and cheeky, but I enjoy serious Taylor better. Call it What You Want: there's something about this song and its soothing powers. Jack Antonoff once suggested to hear this one with headphones, and I'm so glad and took it to heart. New Year's Day: beautiful lyrics, it's just that the melody doesn't really do it for me. This is just a brief looking back to an amazing body of work:
  6. On November 4, 2017, the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation officially opened the "Britney Spears Campus" in Las Vegas. The facility came to reality thanks to the $1 million that Britney donated through the sale of tickets from her Britney: Piece of Me residency. Clark County Commission Steve Sisolak equated Spears’ $1 million donation as well. “I’m just really excited to be standing here for our new NCCF campus,” said Britney during the ceremony. “We started fundraising in 2014 and we’ve raised $1 million to build this amazing facility to support the kids and the families everywhere. I’m so thankful to everyone for their generosity in making this a reality and making this happen.” She then proceeded to cut the ribbon as Stronger played in the background. Jeff Gordon, the CEO of the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation added "We can’t thank Britney enough being able to do this. Our dream for many, many years has been to be able to have one one building that all of our 45 programs can come together in one place. And that we are able to to today, and that doesn’t happen without someone like Britney Spears. We saw a side of Britney Spears that so many people maybe don’t have the opportunity to see. You realize what a special person Britney is. She’s an incredible performer, we know all that, but she does care and the more we’ve gotten to know her, the more grateful we’ve become to her, and the kids have adored her [...] until today people haven’t totally understood what Britney Spears has meant to this community. We’ve all seen her on stage, we’ve all seen her perform and what a phenomenal performer and entertainer she is, but what’s she’s doing today is another side of Britney that unfortunately most of us haven’t had the opportunity to see before. What she is doing today, and continues to do, is going to benefit thousands of children that comes through this facility, and for that we are sincerely thankful and very, very appreciative." Britney made the donations through the years after her residency started and was involved in different events to support the NCCF:
