MAD TV was wildd 

It’s kinda crazy that they did this when Britney was a teen herself but the song is kinda catchy ngl and to be fair Jive was promoting Britney with the whole Lolita image 

The BTS is even crazier, they clocked everything back in ‘99?? Lynne’s crazy ***, how overworked she was and the sick industry behind her. Truly ahead of their time

MadTV definitely had insiders working on their team back in the day. If you watch some of their Whitney parodies, they knew a TON of tea about her before it became public knowledge. It’s pretty crazy.

I miss Mad TV.  It can be cringy, but I always enjoyed it.

I always thought it was funny and enjoyed watching reruns of Mad TV in the mids 00s.

Now it's a little eerie how accurate some of their celebrity parodies were.

Definitely agree people in the industry knew a lot of things early on, and not just about Britney.

 

Meanwhile MadTv was wild with how far it took things and had some really iconic talent involved.
