However, rumor has it Sony Pictures has landed the rights for The Woman In Me movie adaptation. Sony was the frontrunner In order to use Britney's music catalogue so they were the obvious choice

They need to hurry up.. movies are succesful thanks to the GP and the GP isn't really paying much interest anymore, not even the TMZ or DailyMail posts seem to generate traffic anymore.

These adaptations take time so don't expect The Woman In Me movie for at least 2-3 more years. And praying and hoping the movie does not fall into development hell which is pretty frequent for biopics
