The album isn’t even that good. It’s one of her most mediocre albums she’s ever put out. Almost all 30 some songs sound the same except a select few. I couldn’t force myself to listen to the entire thing especially when she put a double album out I said **** it and just previewed the songs on iTunes and was glad I didn’t waste the literal 2 hours of my life I would’ve had to use to listen to every single song.

I swear if she wins AOTY at the Grammys next year instead of Ariana or Billie, I’m rioting because as I said one of the most boring and mediocre albums she’s ever released and I had high hopes for it too based off the cover.

48 versions, yes. The 1989 had 18 versions on first week, The new álbum had 23 in the first week. That way it's too easy to sell 2 million. Imagine Oops I Did It Again with multiple versions?

I love Taylor’s music but TTPD is such a mediocre album.

She can literally fart multiple times on the mic to make a 14 track album and the swifties will make it AOTY. :overitkbye_britney_annoyed_leave_leaving_goodbye_blue:

Im not Taylor fan an at all but it is not 48 versions of the album.

Just because physical CD or LP was produced in different country and has different barcode it doesn't mean its different variant.

Same if you have Mp3 album and Flac album, it is only difference of the digital file - the album is still the same

 

Based on your logic "In The Zone" for example would have 105 variants !

You're definitely right. People keep blowing it out of proportion.
Tracklist-wise, TTPD has 12 variants as on 5/24/24.
5 physical variants with 1 bonus track for each
1 digital/streaming double album version with 31 tracks
3 digital variants with a phone memo for each
3 digital variants with a live recording for each
