It would be bad if he turned I'm a slave 4 u into a slow kinda ballad song, ugh. I don't like when people take a upbeat energetic song and make it a slow lounge song.

I've never understood singers who take a fun pop song, and try to make it into a vocal power jam. You can even see it in his face that he thinks he's singing some Celine Dion or Whitney Houston song.

I've never understood singers who take a fun pop song, and try to make it into a vocal power jam. You can even see it in his face that he thinks he's singing some Celine Dion or Whitney Houston song.

This song is not intended to be vocally challenging. It's not meant to "show off" your skills. It requires a sultry character in your voice and when you try too hard, it shows.

He could be a good singer, but it's about song choice. This ain't it....

MY GOD! THIS.

I haaaaaaaaated the Dancing On MY Own ballad which was sung by some guy. Ugh.... 

Seriously, the first time I heard it I was like... "wtf is this? oh no, nononono". Like, yes, lyrics express something sad but the song itself wasn't meant to be like that. Ew.
