Random: we can now comment again on audio clips on Youtube

Since when did they enable comments on audio videos on youtube?

 

 

about a couple of years ago or so all the audio clips from "Topic" channels on youtube got their comment section disabled, but all of a sudden I started noticing comments again.

 

You'll notice the "latest" comments will be from more than a year ago

 

Newer clips barely have any comments:

They are still disabled and I’m living in Europe.  Damn, she has so many views for If You Seek Amy.

I don't know, they used to be just like any other video, until one day all topic channels disabled their comments section. I think it has something to do with the YouTube Music app? I really don't know. But I always prefer to watch these videos because they usually have better audio than the official music videos, so this morning I was shuffling a youtube playlist and noticed there were comments again

I can still see them Is it because I'm on web browser? Or because I'm premium

I'm premium and in Google Chrome and it still says Comments are turned off.
