Called out for what? Am I subject to an opinion that only fits your narrative? I was labeled, clowned, and framed over my respectful criticism and opinion I had of the song during its infant stage. ‘Rightly’ criticized isn’t the appropriate term considering how many users are saying around the same exact thing I said all the way back from when the song had just freshly leaked because I guarantee if I wrote what I initially wrote now, I wouldn’t have gotten the influx of responses and attacks, or as you like to call it — being ‘criticized’. Britney's vocals deserve love and attention on this track. Its a dance song that is radio and chart friendly, if you expected Britney to give us deep ballad vocals like Baby Boy, or Let Go, that's on you. The song doesn't call for that. 

The vocals haven't been treated to the extent some of yall are making it out. They're very much in line with what we've heard her sing live, recently. Her falsetto sounds incredible, and her runs are iconic. Her falsetto run on the word silence floored me, because those vocals have been pushed to very far back backing vocals in recent years.

This is her dipping her toe into a musical return, and she has delivered. It's a day that none of us thought we would see ever again, it does mark the end of what was her protest hiatus and a new start in her career on her terms, and it's with a musical legend who respected her enough to give her all the space on this song to shine.
