All this anticipation, but without any official confirmation, makes me think that we are facing a similar scenario to the infamous 2013 performance in the desert promoting Work ***** and the Vegas residency.

No, but typically - at least in my experience - singles that don't become big hits aren't usually great songs, just tepid ones at best.

I’m not joking this time. My friend BritneysVault has listened to the song (although I have not listened to it). He claims it sounds nothing trip to your heart. The release date was never confirmed and he isn’t telling me much else to keep it a surprise tbh

Well at least HMC will be a single and will get a single treatment. Mood Ring is just a bonus track which became a regular tracklist song after 4 years, no wonder it didn't enter Billboard Hot 100.
