I actually live and work 10 minutes away from the fires and the only ones affected are the ones whose homes burned down. (Besides those temporarily evacuated and dealing with the smoke smell). Hope this brings some peace to all those worried about the people in the region. Orange County is a huge area and one of the most populated counties in California and the US

Not me expecting to have ash covering my car today  So sad for everyone that lost their homes… I feel like things are extra dry so I imagine we’re going to have quite the fiery summer.

Some lady told me that the government burned down the homes because “Outspoken Trumpians who are anti-mask and anti-vaccines live there and they were trying to silence them” I’m like “ma’am I’m just tryna have a nice day today”

I actually don’t live all that far from Orange County so I come across these sentiments from people a lot and it’s usually when I’m just trying to chill or least expect it
